14:11. അങ്ങനെ അവർ ബാൽപെരാസീമിൽ ചെന്നു; അവിടെവെച്ചു ദാവീദ് അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു: വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടംപോലെ ദൈവം എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എന്റെ കയ്യാൽ തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു ദാവീദ് പറഞ്ഞു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ബാൽ-പെരാസീം എന്നു പേർ പറഞ്ഞു വരുന്നു.

14:11. So they marched against Baal Perazim and David defeated them there. David said, "Using me as his instrument, God has burst out against my enemies like water bursts out." So that place is called Baal Perazim.

14:11. So David and his troops went up to Baal-perazim and defeated the Philistines there. "God did it!" David exclaimed. "He used me to burst through my enemies like a raging flood!" So they named that place Baal-perazim (which means "the Lord who bursts through").

14:11. So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there; and David said, God hath broken mine enemies by my hand, like the breach of waters. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

14:11. And he went up to Baal-perazim, and David struck them down there. And David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like a bursting flood." Therefore the name of that place is called Baal-perazim.

14:11. So they came up to Baal-perazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

14:11. And he went up to Baalperazim, and David defeated them there; and David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like a bursting flood." Therefore the name of that place is called Baalperazim.

14:11. So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there; and David said, God hath broken mine enemies by mine hand, like the breach of waters. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

14:11. And they go up into Baal-Perazim, and David smiteth them there, and David saith, `God hath broken up mine enemies by my hand, like the breaking up of waters;` therefore they have called the name of that place Baal-Perazim.

14:11. Then David and his men went up to the town of Baal Perazim. There David and his men defeated the Philistines. David said, "Waters break out from a broken dam. In the same way God has broken through my enemies! God has done this through me." That is why that place is named Baal Perazim.

14:11. So they came up to Baal Perazim, and David struck them there; and David said, God has broken my enemies by my hand, like the breach of waters. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
